How we work
We are a service-area business, not a showroom. Every technician runs a stocked truck carrying the springs, cables, rollers, hinges and opener parts that account for the overwhelming majority of calls, which is why most jobs are finished on the first visit rather than turning into a return trip.
Because we travel to you, we do not publish a street address. What we do publish is the full list of cities we cover and honest drive times, so you know what to expect before you call.
How we price
Estimates are free and given on site, in full, before anything is dismantled. If a repair does not make economic sense against replacement, we say so — a door with a cracked bottom section, rusted-through track and a fifteen-year-old opener is not a door we will keep patching to earn callouts.
Any price ranges you see on this site are broad estimates for typical residential work. Your actual quote depends on door size, spring rating, hardware condition and access, and you will always hear the real number before you commit.
Why 24 hours actually means 24 hours
A garage door that will not close leaves your house open. A car trapped behind a failed spring stops someone getting to work. Those are not problems that wait until Monday, so our line is answered overnight and at weekends, and we dispatch rather than take a message.
What we work on
Garage door brands we service
These are the door lines we see most often on Middle Tennessee homes. We repair them, source replacement sections and hardware for them, and install them when a door is past saving.
- Clopay — Extremely common on Nashville-area new builds. Steel and insulated steel sections, plus the Coachman and Gallery carriage-house styles found in Franklin and Green Hills.
- Amarr — Another builder favorite in Rutherford and Wilson County subdivisions. Hardware and section replacement are straightforward when a single panel gets hit.
- Wayne Dalton — Known for its TorqueMaster counterbalance system, which behaves differently from a standard torsion setup and needs a technician who has worked on it before.
- Overhead Door — Found on both older Davidson County homes and newer construction. We service the residential lines and the commercial rolling and sectional doors.
- C.H.I. — Popular for its steel carriage-house looks. Section colors and stamp patterns are matchable in most cases, so a single damaged panel does not always mean a whole door.
- Raynor — Residential and commercial sectional doors. We handle spring, cable, roller and track work on these as well as opener pairing.
- Haas — Aluminum and steel doors, including the full-view glass doors that show up on renovated East Nashville and 12South properties.
- Northwest Door — Steel and wood-composite sectionals. Track and hinge hardware is standard enough that same-day repairs are usually possible.
Opener brands we service
Openers are where most no-warning failures happen. We diagnose, repair, reprogram and replace every one of these, and we keep the common logic boards, gear kits, sensors and remotes on the truck.
- LiftMaster — The most common opener we work on. Chain, belt, and wall-mount jackshaft models, plus myQ setup and Security+ 2.0 remote and keypad programming.
- Chamberlain — Shares its platform with LiftMaster, so parts and programming overlap. Gear-and-sprocket kits solve a large share of the humming-but-not-moving calls.
- Genie — Screw-drive and belt-drive units. Safe-T-Beam sensor faults and Intellicode remote pairing are the two issues we handle most on these.
- Sommer — Direct-drive openers with the motor riding on the rail. Quiet units with fewer moving parts, and we stock the pairing procedure for their remotes.
- Linear — Residential and light-commercial units, including older models still in service on Madison and Donelson homes.
- Marantec — Often installed alongside builder-grade doors. Logic board and travel-limit issues are the usual complaints.
- Craftsman — Long-lived units built on the Chamberlain platform. Many can be repaired rather than replaced, and most modern remotes can still be paired to them.
